Ashley Guillory
Maid of Honor

I’m Ashley Guillory and I’m the Maid of Honor for the Fasanya wedding. I’m from the best city in Texas and that’s where I met the bride. She gave me a ticket to her house the first time we met and we’ve been locked in ever since. I love my friends and any opportunity to be overdressed. Iykyk.

Nkolika Mora

Wendy, you’ve been my friend and sister for the majority of my life, hands down my favorite country, Mexican! You’ve brought laughter (an unhealthy amount), creativity, sisterhood, and color in my life from the moment we met. I have cherished all that our friendship has endured and am honored to be by your side as you embark on this journey with you forever, Emmanuel.
I have watched you and Emmanuel grow with and beside each other for the past 6 six years. Its surreal. We literally prayed for this and now we’re here. #foreverfasanya is your answered prayer, and I’m overjoyed to celebrate it. I pray that this marriage brings you the laughter, the family, the color and the comfort you’ve brought me.
Love you so much!

Taahirah O'Neal

After being introduced by our brothers (s/o to Evan and Will), Wendy and I have been practically inseparable for the last two and a half years. We hit it off immediately, bonding over our shared love for family, entrepreneurship, and building communities. Wendy has shown me what true sisterhood is all about, and I’m so thankful for our friendship. Being her bridesmaid is such a special honor, and I’m really lucky to have her in my life as a dear friend.

Tiera Vann-Opegbemi

Hi, I’m Tiera! I’m all about smiles and laughter - honestly, I find joy in just about everything! I’ve been married to my handsome husband, David, for 9 years. Together, we have two wonderful boys who are the greatest gifts God and my husband could ever give me. I’m also a proud dog mom to Obey, our clumsy, fluffy doodle who never fails to bring a smile to my face.
Basketball is life in our house, and when I’m not cheering on my boys, you’ll find me decorating, selling real estate, hanging out with friends, or enjoying Mexican food with good company. There’s nothing I love more than a good laugh and making memories with those I care about!
I’ve had the pleasure of watching Wendy and Emmanuel’s love story blossom from day one, and I could feel their connection the moment Emmanuel mentioned her name. I knew right away that she had to be part of our couples trip to Mexico, and I was so happy to invite her along! Their love is truly special, and I can’t wait to celebrate their big day alongside them. If you see me at the wedding, don’t be shy—come say hi! Let’s share a laugh and raise a glass to the happy couple!

May God continue to bless you! Now let’s get y'all married!!!

Hollie Ricard

Hey yalllll! My name is Hollie and I’m Houston born and raised. Im a 28 (about to be 29, whew lmao) year old Auditor that loves to eat, travel and spend time with family and friends when I’m not working. I’m also a twin, and I know we gonna be lit at the wedding so fyi your eyes are NOT playing tricks on you! LOL I’ve been friends with Wendy for about 15 years and I’m so happy for her and proud of the woman I’ve seen her become. Ariana Jackson

Hey y’all, i’m Ariana! I love animals, dark chocolate, and yellow kiwi’s! :) But no really, from years of riding our bikes around the neighborhood and dancing to Soulja Boy until we couldn’t breathe, to seeing one of my favorite yappers and best friend marry the love of her life. This woman is quite literally always there for me and I wouldn’t trade our experiences together for a thing. I could not be any more proud of her!! And now, my babygirl is getting married to the man of her dreams. Thank you so much Emmanuel for loving my sister. I can’t wait to celebrate my beautiful friends, and I will see you guys soon, lets party!

Tausha Sanders

Hey Y'all! I'm Tausha.
So Wendy actually used to be my intern haha! We met through her older brother Willard and who knew 8 or 9 years later that we would be what we are today?! Wendy is like the little sister I never had, super cliche but very true. The Franklin family & I are locked in, I am basically the 3rd child. I told Wendy in the beginning that even though Emmanuel had a big block head, that he was truly a keeper. I have been through a lot with these two, including starting a lil ol company called Her Grails and I am beyond honored to be part of their union.

Ivory Nero

Hey, I’m Ivory!
I’m the owner of a luxury lash salon, and I’m absolutely obsessed with all things beauty—because let’s be real, when you look good, you feel unstoppable! There’s nothing better than giving people that extra boost of confidence.
But my favorite role? Being a new mama to the most adorable little boy, London! He’s already stealing hearts, but tonight, we’re celebrating love and partying all night with the happy couple. Mazel!

Shante Ned

Where do I begin, I’m Shante cousin of the beautiful bride to be. I’ve know Wendy (aka Wendella, I have her that nick name “Thank ya!” ) her whole life. I’ve always thought of her as my baby sister, she and I would even dress alike as twins. Watching her grow up in to a gorgeous, intelligent woman who met an amazing man, that loves her out loud with no regrets. I remember E telling me he was going to propose to Wendy, I was over joyed. And keeping it a secret was hard but nonetheless worth seeing her face in excitement as E asked for her hand in marriage.

Jacori McMillan

Hi!!! My name is Jacori! Born and raised in Houston, TX

Karmen Alexis

I’m Karmen Alexis, and I’m so honored to be standing beside such an amazing friend, Wendy, as her bridesmaid on this special day. Our sisterhood began back in 2013 over 12 years ago. A ten word hashtag #UNTroomate quickly changed both our lives forever. We realized we both shared a love for spontaneous road trips, karaoke date nights, and our sons (Kanye & Bean) connected instantly . From there, we became inseparable, still remaining friends after being roommates for all of our college years.
Watching Wendy grow into the incredible woman she is today has been one of the greatest joys. Her kindness, humor, and loyalty have made her not only a wonderful friend but also a partner who truly deserves all the love and happiness in the world. My first time meeting Emmanuel was in 2018 at my birthday party, and I feel so fortunate to have been part of their journey.
Today, as she begins this beautiful new chapter with Emmanuel, I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this milestone with her. I know the love they share will only continue to grow, and I’m beyond happy for the both of them. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Shaqaal Guidry

I first met Wendy back in 2015 or 2016 in Tyler, and honestly, it felt like the opening scene of a movie. We were in college, living it up—partying, dancing, and passing around a plastic bottle of something we probably shouldn’t name. The venue had this lift ramp for the owner, who was in a wheelchair, and we were hanging out right next to it, elevated above the crowd. At one point, my girl nearly took a wrong step backward. I’m talking about a heart-stopping, night-ending kind of moment—but luckily, she caught herself. That could’ve been the wildest thing I’d ever witnessed happen to someone so cool. We literally laughed it off and proceeded to party on in a true Wendy fashion.
From that night on, Wendy and Karmen worked their magic and convinced me to transfer to the University of North Texas and become their roommate. Let’s just say, Denton and Dallas Sunday Fundays never knew what hit them.
One of my favorite memories was Wendy’s first "Her Grails" event. I was beyond proud—I felt like I had the coolest friend ever because no one else was doing anything like that at the time. It was amazing to support her and watch her be apart of something so unique and inspiring, especially for women.
Wendy is one of those friends where you can't judge a book by its cover. She can be silly, goofy, playful, and so unserious but also such a driven and motivating person, so it’s no surprise she found her match in Emmanuel. He’s an inspiration in his own right—a Black physical therapist who owns his own practice, showing relentless dedication and passion in everything he does for the community. That same drive and commitment were on full display when he asked Wendy to be his wife May 04, 2024. I have no doubt in my mind, she is in wonderful hands; no physical therapist pun intened. LOL
When you see Wendy and Emmanuel together, it’s like watching best friends who somehow haven’t realized they’re madly in love yet—effortless, fun, and full of joy. I’m beyond excited to celebrate their love story and be a part of this unforgettable journey as they begin their forever together.

Anson Johnson

From High school best friends to brothers if I kept it short, but our journey is anything but that. Emmanuel is one of the most thoughtful people I know. He was my best man in my wedding and I’m sure he will be having that wedding duty for years to come bc that’s how special he is as a friend.

Josiah Nwankwo

If brotherhood had a face, it’d probably be a mix of me and Emmanuel wearing each other’s clothes because, for some reason, we thought that was normal growing up. We’ve been locked in since the sandbox—back when life was all about jiggin’ at house parties, football dreams, and finding new ways to get in trouble without actually getting caught.
High school? Don’t even get me started. We were self-proclaimed club promoters—except we couldn’t get into half the places we were promoting. You ever see two guys hustling hard just for a guest list with their own names on it? Yeah, that was us. The ambition was there, the execution… not so much.
From there, we had this grand plan to pledge the same frat—talking about it since high school like we were already members. Fast forward to college, we made it happen.
Now, here we are, grown men, fathers, and still clowning like we did back in the day. The only difference? Emmanuel actually managed to find someone who puts up with him for life—shoutout to Wendy for taking on this full-time job.
I’m honored to be his best man, mainly to remind him (and everyone else) that I have years of embarrassing stories locked and loaded. But for now, I’ll chill… at least until the reception. Cheers to the Fasanyas!

Nnaemeka Nweke

Been such a long time but when I met Emmanuel he was always a vocal, confident, and also a humble guy. Emmanuel always wanted to learn and he always showed respect to those around him. We’ve shared many pivotal moments together but two memories that stick out the most was taking his ID badge to take a test for him at UNT and also the day I drove with him to Houston in a U-Haul to start his physical therapy journey. It’s been a pleasure to be a friend and a helper in his journey. I’m glad I can be a witness to the future things to come!

David Opegbemi

My name is David Opegbemi, and I’m a proud Nigerian-American. 90s baby to the core, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I’m a husband to my amazing wife of 9 years, Tiera, so I’d say I’m somewhat of a vet in the marriage game. I’m also a father to two incredible boys, OJ and Oakley.
I’m a huge NBA enthusiast, a die-hard LeBron James fan, and I coach both of my boys in basketball. When I’m not watching or coaching hoops, I love traveling, golfing, and spending time at the gym.
By day, I’m a product manager for a software company, but my true passion lies in my journey as an actor. I have a deep love for film and television, and I’m dedicated to bringing powerful stories to life both on screen and behind the scenes.
It has been a true joy knowing my brother Eman and sis Wendy. Over the years, I’ve watched these two grow closer, and it’s been a blessing to witness their love and commitment blossom. Eman is one of the most genuine people I’ve known since we were kids, and Wendy’s creativity and heart for helping others is truly inspiring. All I know is God doesn’t make no mistakes and they are truly meant for each other. I can go on and on about these two, but I will keep it short for now. I simply can’t wait to celebrate your union with you both!

25 years ago, God brought us together and we’ve been locked in ever since. God has really blessed us to be able to experience so much joy and laughter over the years. We’ve endured ours ups, and our downs, but one thing is for certain, the love and the positive energy has always been a constant. Throughout each chapter of this life I’ve never had to doubt your allegiance to our brotherhood, and you’ll never have to doubt mine….even though that one time I folded and my dad viciously slapped both of us. Emmanuel, I thank God for you and your life. You’ve impacted me (and I’m sure many other people) in ways you’ll never even know, and I pray that God places his hands over this union with you and Wendy. I also pray that you both continue to grow towards each other and that god sheds his utmost grace on your lives. I love you bro, always!

Wale Lawal

Met Emmanuel when he was 5 years old. Ever since then our families went to church together every week, and me and Emmanuel played football together growing up. We built a relationship over the years were in many ways he feels the same to me as I feel about my blood brothers. In fact, I grew up with Emmanuel longer then I grew up with most of my blood brothers. We used to spend our entire summers going over each others houses, scoring on each other or playing football outside. It's been a blessing to see how much Emmanuel has overcome and how far he has come in life. I'm just blessed to have been a big brother to him through the journey from sports to school, and now as a Business owner being able to help advise him on his business strategy. And I've come to learn so much from him as well. And I know our paths are forever intertwined since he has become my brother-in-law and he is the uncle to our two daughters. Can't wait for the big day

Sam Fasanya

I would like to say a Huge Congratulations to Big Brother on tying the knot and finally settling down after a couple jump scares and minor false alarms were finally here lol but no Seriously the Bible says He who finds A Wife has found a good thing and knowing Wendy I believe you have found a great thing in her .I’m extremely proud and excited for what the future holds for the both of you Keep leading by example Big Bro Love you forever !
-sam

David Fasanya

As Emmanuel’s younger brother, I was born on his 8th birthday. We’ve seen each other through every phase of life and now I get to see my big bro finally tie the knot. God is great!

Courtland Charles

Hello I’m Courtland Charles, I first met Emmanuel back in high school, though with our four-year age gap, we weren’t exactly best buds at the time. Fast forward to the chaos of COVID, and fate, mixed with the combo of me convincing him to move - brought us together under the same roof. From that point on, we became more than just friends/neighbors—we became brothers.
We’ve celebrated wins together, taken some tough losses (including a few questionable life choices), shed a tear or two, and, most importantly, laughed so much that it probably counts as cardio. Through it all, one thing has always been clear—Headie Murphy, typo Emmanuel is one of the most selfless, motivated, and genuinely inspiring people I know.
Now, he’s found Wendy, the perfect match for his energy, kindness, humor and ability to somehow convince people that he knows what he’s doing. I have no doubt that their love will last forever, mostly because Wendy is too amazing to let him mess this up. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and, let’s be honest, Wendy keeping him in check!

“Now introducing Dr. Emmanuel and Wendy Fasanya”

Your village has been anticipating this moment for some time and now it’s finally here! It is such an honor to be a part of this wonderful milestone in y’all’s life together.

Eman, I’m so happy that you’ve found the love of your life in Wendy. It’s been inspiring and refreshing to watch you two hold each other down through every single obstacle life has presented and I’m confident that God will continue to bless, strengthen, and protect your union!

Eman! My friend, my brother, my Dean! From the first link ups at UNT, bonding over Nigerian cuisine, telling Yoruba jokes, to you saying “YALL KNOW WHO THIS IS” at my probate. Then growing into adulthood, watching you achieve every goal you set and enjoying life to the fullest while doing it, the memories are just endless. Fast forward to now and our brotherhood has never changed. You have such a pure heart my dawg. You’re always motivating others to win and you genuinely love being motivated by others to win and excel in all aspects of life. One thing that comes to mind is that on our birthdays we always make sure to call each other and pray, it’s never a text, a phone call with prayer every birthday. I appreciate you my brother!
Anyways sha, no more long talk..LET’S GET YOU TO THE ALTAR AND TAP OUR TOES WELL WELL!!!

Daniel Osinloye

Emmanuel is the kind of friend who celebrates my smallest wins like I just won an Olympic gold medal. Ambitious, genuine, supportive and someone you can count on to show up at anytime. That said, his FIFA skills can use some (a lot) of polishing. However, I give glory to God for guiding Emmanuel to find his life partner in Wendy and I’m honored to be by his side on the big day!

EJ Akeredolu

I remember meeting Emmanuel back in college. He’s always been a loyal and supportive friend — the kind of person you never have to question when it comes to having your back. When he moved to Houston(for PT school), our friendship only grew stronger. Seeing the bond between Wendy and Emmanuel has been incredible, and I’m truly honored to be part of this union.

Michael Osinloye

Firstly congrats to this beautiful new union! My name is Mike, born in Dallas, grew up in London and lived in Houston. Eman and I have so many memories over the years, as we’ve both grown up from young college kids, to successful businessmen. Eman has said it for years that he will marry Wendy one day. As I type this bio that day is finally here! Wendy and Eman are inseparable, their bond will never be duplicated. The love that they both have for each other is inspiring and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. God bless this union and I can’t wait to celebrate the two of you!

Markeisth Scott

Imagine stepping into a stranger’s home, connected by a shared goal of joining the same fraternity. What began as a simple bond soon evolved into a lifelong brotherhood. That’s how my journey with Emmanuel started in the summer of 2011. Since then, he has remained a steady presence in my life, standing by my side through every high and low that life has brought my way
From mourning the loss of my mother to celebrating my marriage and the birth of my children, Emmanuel has been there, unwavering and steadfast. Through every triumph and every trial, his friendship has remained a source of strength and encouragement. And now, as he steps into this beautiful new chapter with Wendy, I am deeply honored to walk alongside them on this journey.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing their love story unfold. I’ve watched one of my best friends grow in ways that only true love can inspire. From the very start, it was clear that Wendy is his person. He has never wavered in his devotion to her, and together, they embody a love that is rare and remarkable.
As they embark on this new adventure, I pray that God send his angels before them, clearing every obstacle and blessing their path. May their love continue to shine as a testament to the beauty of destiny. And may the world come to see what I have always known which is Emmanuel’s unwavering love has truly met its perfect match.

Chris Okoli

This story has never been told, but Emmanuel actually sent me a friend request on Facebook before we met in person lol. Fast forward a couple years later and we are roommates in college talking about our lives past and future. Many late nights involved Emmanuel pouring his heart out about how he would become the best physical therapist in the DFW, have a beautiful wife, big house, and beautiful children. As we know now one thing about Emmanuel is if he says he's going to do something, he backs it up. When he said he found the ONE. I knew he would make sure that nothing would get in the way of that. Seeing the way Emmanuel still lights up when he talks about Wendy makes me honored to celebrate this Union. The support, love, and admiration you both share for each other is beyond heart warming and I wish you both prosperity and holy matrimony.
